A record label executive was arrested on Friday after a crowd of crazed fans caused a near riot at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island while waiting in line for autographs from your boy and ours, Justin Bieber.
Allegedly, an executive at Island Def Jam Records, Justin’s label, sent out messages to thousands of fans, via social networking sites, that Justin would be signing autographs – even after police and security tried to disperse the manic crowd.
Fans began lining up as early as 8am hoping to receive a yellow bracelet, which was a pass to meet the teen pop star – but trouble started a couple of hours before the event.
During the chaos, Justin tweeted a warning to his fans to stay away: “They are not allowing me to come into the mall. if you dont leave I and my fans will be arrested as the police just told us”. “The event at roosevelt mall is cancelled,” he wrote. “please go home. … I dont want anyone hurt.”
Bieber’s record label apologized to fans: “Over 10,000 screaming fans showed up and the police and fire marshal concluded it was an unsafe environment and prohibited the event from taking place,” the statement said.

left right after school. there was a little traffic. on my way there, my friend called me up saying her mom said that it was cancelled. my friend and i were almost there so we just continued. but when i arrived with my friend, there were only like a couple of hundred people there. when i was in school that day my friend told me that there were already 10,000 people there from 11:00. i didn’t believe him. i think there were only like 4,000 people there. I think it would be better, but a little stressful, if he came for an unexpected visit. or he should just not go to Roosevelt. there’s another mall on long island, Green Acres. it’s not as big…but an unexpected visit there would e much better. IN MY OPINION… GIRLS SHOULDN’T GO CRAZY FOR A TEEN WHO IS THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE. EVERYONE IS THE SAME…NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE. WE’RE ALL EQUAL. i didnt cry when i found out he wasnt coming cause i know that once he was just a regular kid like me…and all my friends and everyone out there.

I had a bruise on my stomach from when girls were elbowing me(emily)….We like couldnt breathe and the police threatened to arrest me and my sister if we didnt leave(emily again)…..WE WAITED ON LINE FOR 7 HOURS! If those girls in the back didnt say “if you love justin bieber, scream” then nobody would have ran forward thinking that Justin Bieber was there! it could have been so much more organized! I wuz there with meghan /\ and it was insane, there was no room to breathe!!!! The mall was just seriously not prepared for anything. The probably thought “oh he’s not a big star a lot of people hate him” meeanwhile a lot of people [mostly girls] LOVE HIM!!!!! It was crazy I’m jst happy that Justin Bieber didn’t get hurt. Oh and they threatened to arret him and his mom for no aparent reason

and also the security guards started gettin very nasty and thretend one girl that he would arrest her one security guard evne oulled one girl by her sweatshirt he had 2 rite 2 touch her when she was not doing anything wrong all we were doing was sitting in the hall way nice and quite not making any trouble but they said for saftty reasons we werent allowed 2 stay in there and we had 2 leave then big guys with black suits came in and started yelling for evey1 2 leave it wasnt our fault the mall was low on securuity next time they should learn when there is a big pop star like justin bieber to have many security it was very un organized and i refuse 2 ever go back to that mall after that day they should of taken charge but they were lazy and didnt and were way 2 loy on cops and everything it was a big mess and it wasnt justins fault i love him with all my heart and hop 2 meet him 1 day i would never blame him for anything <3 love u justin nd so sorry for everything tht happend yesterday girls were juss having very disrespectful behavior
i was there and it was pure craziness i was in line since 8 in the morning and all of a sudden with one girls scream everyone started running and things got unorganized and me and my friends all llost eachother. My friend called me after a half hour and told me she was inside the hall were they brought some girls i went to find her and the security guard was very nice and let me in. This would of been my 5 time seeing justin but my first time ever meeting up i got so exited i had begged my mom so much to let me go i put sighns on ceral boxes in her work book all over the mirrors in my house and she finnallly said yes when i was sitting in the hall way all the girls had 2 remain quit. After an hour of wating a security guard came and told every1 justin was not coming that the event was cancled of course none of us belived him a few minutes l8ter justin tweeted saying he was on his way here then the cops came and said girls outside the store were being nuts that they will not let justin come anywhere near the building for safty reasons after another hour of waiting me and my friend broke down in tears because the event was cancled when we went outsdie we were inofromed that we should leave rite away because to mothers went to the hospital one lil gitl fell and broke her glasses one girl rumor says tht she was hit by a car and the girl next to me had an asma attack other girls started throwing up from crying so much. After 15 minutes of waiting outside me and my friend went inside the mall were about 5,000 girls or maybe more were on the second floor chanting for justin eventually justin tweeeted again nd said if we dun leave him and his fans will be arrested the mallk started emtying out and one by one all u saw were girls crying.. Me and my friend cried for 2 hours straight and we hope they resecudale the event for the 1000 girls who already had the braclet.
